Table Football Worlds 2026: Messina & Italy’s Paralympics

From 6 to 8 February 2026, the PalaRescifina in Messina will host the 2026 World Champions League Finals. The event, which will take place in the “Gaming Arena Città di Messina”, is organized by the ITSF and entrusted to the FPICB – with the support of the Municipality of Messina and Mediterranea Eventi.

It is the first time that Italy hosts the world finals, an event with large numbers, as demonstrated by the over 500 participants and teams representing 26 nations. For the first, then, alongside the men’s and women’s draws, the Junior and Paralympic categories officially debut, for an event characterized by full inclusiveness.

The Paralympic draw itself is of greater importance: with 50 athletes participating, it is the largest international table football event for athletes with disabilities ever held.

We are truly proud – declares the President of the FPICB Francesco Bonanno – the Messina stage represents a historic turning point: we officially open up to the Paralympic world and include new categories, launching a signal of international growth”. Bonanno also wanted to thank the Mayor Federico Basile and the Councilor Massimo Finocchiaro for the support of the Administration: “Messina will be able to welcome everyone with great enthusiasm. It will be a historic edition that will make participants fall in love with our city.”
