East Hesse (jah/sim) – When the Super Bowl flickers across the screens again in the night from Sunday to Monday, the East Hesse region will also be transformed into a small football stronghold again. For many fans, cheering together has long been just as much a part of the game as the touchdowns and the halftime show. This year, some locations are inviting you to special Super Bowl watch parties – with a living room atmosphere, big screens and lots of American flair. In the 60th edition of the Super Bowl this year, the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots face each other.
There will also be a Super Bowl watch party at HBH again this year from 10 p.m. For the fourth time, the team invites you to join in the excitement together. For 26.90 euros per person, guests can expect a classic American buffet with burgers, spare ribs and other BBQ specialties, which are offered all night long. Around 50 visitors have registered so far, short-term registrations for those who decide spontaneously are still possible. The location is decorated to match the occasion and decorated in typical Super Bowl style. “The atmosphere has always been relaxed, cozy and very good in recent years,” reports A. Özlem Candir Hasani from Marketing. In keeping with the event, a new BBQ beer has also been on offer since this week.
The Super Bowl is being celebrated together for the third time in a row in the Trinity Pub at Fuldaer Peterstor. From 10 p.m., Angelika Zaczkiewicz’s team opens the doors and shows the sports highlight of the year on the projector: In order to guarantee guests the best possible experience, the Trinity Pub team even redesigns the furnishings: The furniture is rearranged so that the room looks like a large, cozy living room. There is space for around 40 guests. Admission is free, registration is not necessary – spontaneous visitors are expressly welcome. From a culinary point of view, everything remains as usual, as everyone eats from the normal menu. Classics such as fish and chips, chicken wings and mozzarella sticks are particularly popular. “Over the past two years, the campaign has been very well received,” says Zaczkiewicz. “There is therefore great hope that many football fans will find their way to us again this year.”
The event at the motorcycle dealer Harley-Davidson Fulda is much larger: Managing director Robert Kremer and his team are organizing a Super Bowl watch party for the third year in a row – for the second time in cooperation with the football players of the Fulda Saints. “We are now fully booked,” says Kremer happily and explains: “It was simply necessary to register in advance so that we can plan better.” The managing director and his team are expecting a record number of 110 visitors. “In the first year there were 50 people, then 65. We’ll now see how we can manage such a crowd.” For 45 euros, football fans can enjoy an all-round package at Kremer and Co.: food and drinks are completely included, only schnapps costs extra. Traditionally, burgers, hot dogs, chips and much more are offered.
Whether cozy in the pub or big with an all-inclusive package: the region is ready for the biggest football night of the year. Now all you have to do is keep your fingers crossed for your favorite team and enjoy the Super Bowl together.
