Seeing Guerschon Yabusele join Victor Wembanyama at the San Antonio Spurs has been a fantasy of French NBA fans since this summer. Unfortunately, it seems that the Texas franchise is not a fan of the French team captain’s contract.
In the national team, Guerschon Yabusele and Victor Wembanyama have already proven that they have a very good understanding on the floor. However, it seems that the San Antonio Spurs are not very motivated by the idea of recreating this association in the NBA.
According to Mike Scotto, the New York Knicks would have offered a package around Guerschon Yabusele and Pacôme Dadiet in exchange for Jeremy Sochan. An exchange refused due to the contract of the French power forward who has a player option at $5.5 million for next season.

The NBA is moving so fast. This summer again, the former Boston Celtics and Philadlephia Sixers was extremely courted after a successful season in Pennsylvania and after not having managed to truly integrate the rotation of the New York Knicks, his contract, although not very high, seems to scare management.
It would not be surprising to see Guerschon Yabusele leave the Big Apple during the week. The question is where will his next destination be?
