“Twenty-three archers, sixteen adults and seven young people, were licensed in 2025 (26 are already registered for 2026), she specifies. They constitute the sporting part of the club. Locally, we organized a qualifying 2X18m Indoor Shooting competition in October as well as the third stage of the Hope Challenge, a competition for beginner departmental archers. We participated in the thirteenth Sports Forum organized by our parent association, the General SCA, which allowed us to further expand our workforce. On October 19, in the courtyard of the Château de Lunac, our costumed archers carried our values high during the Bastides en Fête event. I would like to thank the coaches present every Wednesday, Annie Sautedé, Jean-Pierre Piboyeux (who is also our federal referee), as well as Brigitte Cachau, Bruno Poirier and Stéphane Pérobe. I associate with these thanks, the entire team around me in the management of the section, the municipality for its unwavering financial and material assistance, and all of you, archers and parents who are regularly present in the organization of our events. »
Good results
The financial year shows a deficit of 1,633 euros, caused by the desired purchase of six bows and accessories for the club’s young people. Leaving a healthy cash flow, it was approved unanimously.
The good sporting results were praised: Stéphane Pérobe, 3D departmental champion, 5e in the regional championship and Bruno Poirier, vice-champion of this same category, 4e regional. After four stages, the club finished 4e of the hope challenge.
