Rodrigo Amaral returns to Uruguayan football. At 28 years old, the footballer who was South American champion with Uruguay at the Under 20 level and who emerged in the Nacional youth team, he will wear his fifth shirt in our country.
And on this Wednesday night he was announced as a new player for Deportivo LSM, the team that revolutionized Uruguayan football last season by being owned by Luis Suárez and Lionel Messi and that has just achieved promotion to the First Amateur Division.
The hiring of Amaral is part of a more than interesting project that has been joined in recent days by renowned footballers such as Gastón Poncet, Kevin Larrea, Mario Risso and Christian “Keke” Almeida. Andrés Pérez also arrived.
In reference to Rodrigo Amaral, his last season was in Bolivian soccer because he came from defending the Oriente Petrolero shirt with which he played 15 games, scoring a goal and giving an assist.
In addition to defending Nacional, in Uruguayan football he also wore the shirts of Fénix, Plaza Colonia and Wanderers, while abroad he played for Racing de Argentina, The Strongest and Jorge Wilstermann.
