The DV Gunea was the meeting point for a large group of Gipuzkoan sports representatives who wanted to attend and, in some way, participate in this third edition of Kirolean Errespetuz. All of them are staunch defenders of the slogan that gives name to this DV initiative in collaboration with the Sports Department of the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council and the Donostia City Council: respect in sport.
Juanma Velascodeputy director of El Diario Vasco, and Alvaro Vicentehead of Sports, were in charge of welcoming all the guests to the facilities of this newspaper. There were institutional representatives such as Roberto RamajoSports Director of the Provincial Council, together with his son Markel, who helps him with the coverage of his messages on social networks, Iñaki GabarainCouncilor for Sports and Healthy Living of the Donostia City Council, and Atitor UriondoDirector of Learning and Innovation of the Basque Government.
All of them had the opportunity to chat friendly with the guests and speakers, the canoeist Pau Echaniz; the athlete Ander Gariar; Lara Gonzalezthe captain of the IDK Euskotren, and Every Karstenplayer of Super Amara Bera Bera, but also with other sports personalities in the territory such as Abraham Olanotechnical director of the Cycling Federation and world champion, and Maialen Chourrautcanoeist and triple Olympic medalist.
They didn’t want to miss the event either. The event ended with a lunch and more talks about respect in sport that we want to care for and promote from all modalities and institutions and also from this newspaper.
