Ministry of Sports and Youth calls Puebla athlete to the State Basketball

– The inspections will take place on February 7 and 8 in eight municipalities of the entity.

PUEBLA CITY, Pue. – In order to strengthen the Puebla women’s and men’s basketball team that will participate in the CONADE 2026 National Olympiad, the Secretariat of Sports and Youth headed by Gaby “La Bonita” Sánchez, calls on the sports community to participate in the first filter of the State stage of the specialty to be held on February 7 and 8.

These visits will be held in eight municipalities of the entity: Ciudad Serdán, Huauchinango, San Martín Texmelucan, Tecamachalco, Tepango de Rodríguez, Tehuacán, Teziutlán and Puebla Capital. In this sense, athletes from Puebla from the 2010 – 2011 and 2012 – 2013 categories may participate.

The athletes who manage to qualify will be able to participate in the second and final filter, which will take place on February 14 and 15 at the Miguel Hidalgo Gym, with the aim of integrating the Puebla basketball team. For more information, the call will be published on the social networks of the Ministry of Sports and Youth.

For the Government of the State of Puebla, headed by Alejandro Armenta, it is essential to work hand in hand with sports associations and thus guarantee the optimal preparation of each athlete who will represent the state at the national level.
