For four years, the coach of the women’s football club 1. FC Slovácko, Petr Vlachovský, secretly filmed his charges in the locker rooms and showers. The police also found child pornography on his computer. The topic was addressed by the Seznam Správy portal.
According to the portal, the court imposed a three-year suspended sentence and a five-year training ban on the man.
The players consider the punishment for the coach to be inadequate. Szenz Správa tried unsuccessfully to contact Vlachovský, who lost his coaching license due to the conviction.
The police discovered the case by accident. “When they monitored the accounts of people on the erotic dating site Amatéri.com, who were exchanging child pornography there, they discovered that Peter Vlachovský was recording the women’s football team changing clothes and showering with secret cameras,” Seznam Správy said. The police took the coach away in the fall of 2023.
According to the server, Vlachovský had 28 records on his computer and external drive. “For four years, he filmed a total of 14 women. One of the soccer players was 17, the oldest 25.
The police also found nine saved pornographic images of children on his computer, which were sent to him by another Amaterov user, with whom Vlachovský shared his recordings from the showers and locker rooms,” the server wrote. The soccer players did not notice the camera that the coach was filming them with.
Last May, according to the server, the court sentenced Vlachovské to a year in prison with a three-year suspended sentence, a five-year training ban and compensation for damages in the amount of 20,000 crowns for each of the victims.
“We tried to contact Petr Vlachovský, but without success. He did not respond to questions sent by e-mail, and we learned from his father at his place of residence that he was ‘far away’ and that it would ‘probably not be possible’ to get his statement,” Seznam Správy wrote.
The decision was issued by the district court with a criminal order. It means that the judge decides on the matter without the order of the main hearing. The soccer player and her representative criticize the way the decision was made.
Judge Pavla Štefaníková answered the server’s question that the main reason for sentencing in the form of a criminal order was an effort to protect the victims. According to the representative of the soccer players, the girls wanted a public hearing.
In 2019, Vlachovský was declared the best coach of women’s football in a poll of the Football Association of the Czech Republic.
