January 31 and 1is February, the 3e stage of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Youth Badminton Trophy took place in the Lomet gymnasium. The 1st stage took place in October 2025 in Villeneuve-sur-Lot, and the 2e The stage took place in Bressuire in November. This event, organized by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Badminton League in collaboration with the ASPTT Agen Badminton, brought together nearly 150 young people and 34 clubs.

Among the Lot-et-Garonnais clubs present, we can note the presence of Brax, Agen, Nérac and even Villeneuve-sur-Lot. The categories represented ranged from chicks (8 years old) to cadets (14 years old). On the program: men’s and women’s singles as well as men’s and women’s doubles. In total, 246 matches were played over the entire weekend, including 136 badminton matches on Saturday and 111 on Sunday.

“The next event will be the senior departmental badminton championship on March 6 and 7 at the Lomet gymnasium,” concludes Gaël Dolhain, president of codep 47 and vice-president of ASPTT Agen badminton.
