For the second time in a row, FC Bayern failed to win in the Bundesliga. Manuel Neuer was visibly annoyed in the interview

Hamburg – It wasn’t the evening that… FC Bayern had imagined. After the 1:2 defeat against FC Augsburg not only had Joshua Kimmich talked about wanting to show a reaction. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen in Hamburg’s Volkspark. In the end it was only a 2-2 draw against the passionately fighting Rothosen. The frustration was deep among the FCB stars, including them Manuel Neuer.

While Karry Kane complained against referee Harm Osmers in the catacombs of Hamburg and Max Eberl also spoke of an overwhelmed referee, Manuel Neuer was a little more cautious. However, he also noted: He was by no means satisfied with Osmers’ performance. “If the referee is an issue after the game, it’s never a good sign.”

“I think it’s always best if the referee isn’t discussed. Because then you know that he had the game under control. But if you’re asked so often, then it doesn’t speak for it.” In the Sky interview with Patrick Wasserziehr there was also a very strange situation that caused a lot of question marks.

During the game, Neuer threw a ball to his defender behind his back. Wasserziehr wanted to make a little joke and said: “You once had a sensational action. I had the feeling you watched a lot of handball. Is that possible?” Neuer, however, was not in the mood for jokes and replied: “Yes, I did.” The further question: “That means: That’s how it came about?” Neuer’s telling answer: “Exactly.”

When Wasserziehr asked again whether Neuer didn’t want to explain it in more detail, he just said: “No. I watched a lot of handball.” He then confirmed that he would keep his fingers crossed for the German handball players in the European Championship final on Sunday against Denmark (all TV information here). Wasserziehr gets a handshake, but then Neuer leaves him standing.

A bizarre scene that shows: After just one point from the last two Bundesliga games, FC Bayern’s nerves are a bit frayed. The referee criticism is also deeply insightful. The cracker against Hoffenheim awaits on Sunday, February 8th. If there is no threesome here again, the interviews will probably be a little colder. (is)
