Misolic Injury Update: Diagnosis & Recovery Timeline

Filip Misolic has to take a break for around two months.

The number one ÖTV men received his diagnosis on Thursday evening. Two days earlier he had to give up the Challenger tournament in Lille due to severe pain in his right foot.

As the “Kleine Zeitung” reports, an MRI scan in Graz revealed that Misolic had torn his plantar fascia. The rupture of the sole of the foot is considered a relatively rare injury and, according to the treating doctor’s initial prognosis, forces the tennis professional to take around eight weeks off.
