Mirzapur Sports: 1700 Students Take Part in Event

Sports festival Kridagan 2026 started on Wednesday at BHU’s Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha. Inauguration chief guest student welfare dean Prof. Ranjan Kumar Singh and Professor in-charge of Southern Campus, Prof. BMN Kumar did it. 1700 students participated in Krirangan 2026. In this, the team of New Men’s Hostel stood first and the team of New Women’s Hostel (Himadri) and Vindhyavasini Women’s Hostel jointly stood second. On the first day of the sports festival, football, volleyball, basketball, running, tug of war, javelin throw, table tennis, shot put, badminton and carrom competitions were held. On this occasion, advisory committee member Prof. Ashish Singh, Prof. Achintya Singhal, Prof. Subhash Pratap Singh, Dr. Manoj Singh, Dr. MK Nandi, Dr. Kuldeep Boudh, Dr. Triyuginath, Dr. Ashwani Kushwaha was present.
