Anthony Limbombe has found a new club. The 31-year-old left winger continues his career in Cyprus, where he starts working for Akritas Chlorakas FC. Limbombe was free after his contract with Israeli side Hapoel Kiryat Shmona expired.
The Cypriot club officially announced his arrival through the club channels. Limbombe will play as a winger and will receive jersey number 77 at Akritas. Limbombe signed a contract until the end of the season and hopes to make his mark on the island again.
The now 31-year-old Limbombe now has a new adventure and a new club on his long CV. The winger, trained by KRC Genk, played as a professional for NEC, Club Brugge, Nantes, Standard, Almere City, SK Beveren and the Israeli Kiryat Shmona. He also played one match for the Red Devils.
