Another goal, another record in sight for Lewandowski

Robert Lewandowski scored as Barcelona beat Mallorca 3-0 moving closer to Hristo Stoichkov in the club’s all-time scoring list.

Robert Lewandowski continued his strong form for Barcelona after finding the net in 3-0 victory over Real Mallorca on Saturday, in matchday 23 of La Liga.

The match was played at Spotify Camp Nou where the Polish striker added another goal to his impressive record with the Catalan club.

With his latest goal, Lewandowski raised his total to 114 goal for Barcelona in fewer than four seasons.

That tally leaves him just three goal away from equaling club legend Hristo Stoichkov, one of the most iconic scorers in Barcelona’s history.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Lewandowski is also six goal away from entering the top 10 all-time scorers for Barcelona underlining the impact he has made since his arrival.

The Blaugrana now sit four points clear of Real Madrid who are second and still have to face Valencia later in the same round.
