League Top Scorers: Begraoui’s Rise & Samu’s Slip

The race for the best scorer in the Portuguese championship continues. This Saturday, Moroccan Yanis Begraoui distanced himself from Samu Aghehowa and Chuchu Ramírez in the table and isolated himself as the third best scorer.

Begraoui scored twice in Estoril’s victory over Santa Clara (4-2)reaching 15 goals scored this season, in 20 rounds. A remarkable record from the ‘intruder’ to the ‘big three’ on the podium.

Vangelis Pavlidis, from Benfica, continues to lead the table with 19 goals, followed closely by Luis Suárez (17), from Sporting, both of whom have not yet seen action this round.

Behind Begraoui are Samu (FC Porto) and Ramírez (Nacional), each with 13 goals. They haven’t played this round yet either.
