BVB is promoting top talent Samuele Inacio to the professionals at short notice

Inacio already impressed at the BVB training camp in Marbella. The midfielder left a strong impression on Kovac and the management team. Now he can prove himself again.

Lars Ricken also recently raved about the teenager. “He is a tenner that you rarely find anymore,” said the sports director at Sport1. Inacio brings a lot of quality offensively, dribbles well and is a goal threat.

In addition, the Italian works against the ball in a team-friendly manner. “He brings a great package with him,” praised Ricken. The BVB boss sees the club’s future in safe hands.

In the current season, Inacio made 21 appearances for the BVB youth team. He scored nine goals and prepared two more. The numbers speak for the talent.

There has been a desire in fan circles for some time for Borussia Dortmund to focus more on their own talents. This wish is finally being fulfilled.

BVB U19 coach Felix Hirschnagl: “We are happy that he has the chance”

On Tuesday (February 3rd) Inacio played for BVB-U19 against AZ Alkmaar. The Youth League game was lost 0:4. Coach Felix Hirschnagl surprisingly replaced Inacio after 45 minutes.

The statement came after the game. “Samuele will be training with the professionals starting tomorrow,” said Hirschnagl. “That’s why we agreed that he would play 45 minutes for us. We’re happy that he gets the chance.”

The general plan is for Inacio to initially play in the U23. But he could also be used for the professionals at the weekend. The training sessions are a reward for his achievements.
