The Korean Sports Association announced on the 5th: “The winners of the ’72nd Korean Sports Association Sports Awards’ have been selected and awarded to sports people who have made outstanding contributions to the sports world of the Republic of Korea in 2025 and made great contributions to the development and revitalization of sports.” Accordingly, the grand prize winner Kim Won-ho will receive a commendation plate and special prizes.

After deliberation by the Sports Justice Committee and voting by the 12th Board of Directors on the 2nd of this month, the Korean Sports Association selected 93 people and 5 groups as winners in 8 departments including competition, guidance, refereeing, life sports, school sports, merit, research, and sports value.
