For Free Maccabi

Congolese international basketball player Jonathan Kuminga has officially left the Golden State Warriors to join the Atlanta Hawks. The 23-year-old Leopard leaves the Californian franchise to join the Georgian in order to have more playing time.

Drafted since 2021 by the Warriors, Jonathan Kuminga won the National Basketball Association (NBA) in 2022, alongside legend Stephen Curry. Golden State beat the Boston Celtics in the final.

As a reminder, Jonathan Kuminga honors the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in the NBA, after the feats of Mutombo Dikembe and Bismarck Biyombo. He is currently the most influential player in the Congolese men’s basketball team.
