Three days before the NBA trade deadline, the market is active regarding Giannis Antetokounmpo.

According to Shams Charania d’ESPNthe Milwaukee Bucks have reportedly begun submitting counteroffers to teams that have expressed interest in acquiring the two-time NBA MVP.

According to ESPN, the Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors and New York Knicks are the most active teams trying to get their hands on Antetokounmpo before the deadline.

Antetokounmpo reportedly told the Bucks several months ago that he believed the time had come to end their 12-season association.

The star player has been sidelined since January 23 due to a right calf injury and the Bucks have not announced a timetable regarding his possible return to play.

In 30 games this season, he averages 28 points, 10 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game.

The Bucks, who have made the playoffs the last nine seasons, have lost their last five games and are ranked 12th in the East.
