“Fulham management is already in discussions with PSV about the player,” writes the transfer journalist on X. “Fulham wants to complete the transfer before the transfer window opens in June. It has to happen early.”

The contact between PSV and Fulham is confirmed by journalist Rik Elfrink of the Eindhovens Dagblad. He writes: “PSV, Fulham and Pepi’s management are still in discussions, as previously reported and as was sent again from Romano. He will remain with PSV until the end of this season, but a summer deal is what Fulham is now focusing on. That has several advantages for PSV.”
PSV did not let Pepi go
Pepi was linked with a departure from PSV all winter. The American, who recently broke his forearm, has been linked with a move to Fulham. The English had an amount of about 37 million euros for the 23-year-old striker, which PSV wanted to agree to.
The only condition was that a suitable replacement could be recruited, but the Eindhoven team failed to do so. Pepi saw that put an end to his transfer.
In 2023, the American came over from FC Augsburg for 11 million euros. He still has a contract until 2030 with the Eredivisie leaders. He is currently sidelined with an arm injury.
