First match and first list! The French Rugby Federation revealed this Thursday morning the composition of the French under-20 team which will face Ireland, Saturday at 9 p.m., at the Stade Aimée Giral in Perpignan, during the first day of the Six Nations Tournament in the category.
“After two good work cycles, it was not easy to choose the players for this first match,” indicates Cédric Laborde, the U20 manager. We built a team that seemed to us to be the one that had the most collective experience and that allowed us to start and finish this match in a balanced way to respond to the collective fight that awaits us. It’s a first match, a first team in a very close-knit group, the challenge will be to enjoy fighting and winning the pressure game. We can’t wait for it to begin! »

Title holders, the Bleuets will present themselves in particular with the Toulouse duo composed of the third row Marceau Marzullo, designated captain, and the 2nd row Roméo Bonnard Martin, son of the former international Rémy Martin.
