Thursday evening at the Stade de France, Antoine Dupont’s teammates largely dominated the Irish at the opening of a 6 nations tournament co-broadcast exceptionally this year with TF 1. Their clear 36-14 victory over the XV du Trèfle was also full of viewers. The meeting broadcast by France 2 thrilled no less than 7.24 million fans according to Médiamétrie. This represents 39.0% of the entire public, without forgetting a market share for women responsible for purchasing aged under fifty (FRDA-50) of 34.8%. Enough to allow the public channel to be exceptionally very large leader in this commercial target.
The rest of the channels are, as expected, struggling. The little sister of the public service, France 3, follows with “The secrets of the castle”. This telefilm in rebroadcast by Anny Duperey and Jean-Charles Chagachbanian attracted 1.78 million viewers, or 9.4% of the public.
M6 overdue
TF 1 is just behind with an evening rebroadcast of “Master Crimes”, its detective series played by Muriel Robin. In pain, M6 remains at the foot of the podium with a number again repeating “Nightmare in the kitchen”. Philippe Etchebest’s entertainment brought together 743,000 fans, or 4.1% of the public. The market share for FRDA-50 reached 8.8%.
As for the rest of the channels, France 5 stands out with its new documentary “Ulysses’ voyage to the Mediterranean: from myth to science”. The latter interested 664,000 curious people (3.5% PDA).
