France-Ireland: Line 12 & RER D Traffic – Works Disruption

The return journey promises to be complicated for the spectators at the Stade de France. This Thursday evening, the XV of France challenges Ireland in Saint-Denis (9:10 p.m.). The meeting should end shortly before 11 p.m., but work will complicate the routes of public transport users.

The prefecture of Seine-Saint-Denis (93) reminded on its X account that line 12 of the metro would be interrupted in both directions of traffic from 10 p.m. – during the game – due to work. For the same cause, the RER D will no longer run from 11 p.m., shortly after the end of the Six Nations Tournament match.

RER B and metros 13 and 14 recommended

The prefect recommends looking at other routes. He cited the RER B, leaving from La Plaine-Stade de France station, metro line 13 from the Saint-Denis Porte de Paris stop as well as metro 14, via Saint-Denis Pleyel station. Stops respectively located 15 minutes, 10 minutes and 20 minutes from the Stade de France.

Heavy traffic is expected on the RER B as well as on metro line 13. It is recommended to buy tickets on the way to the Dionysian enclosure to make it easier to leave once the match is over.
