JVC and VIOS-W were unable to achieve results in the first division of amateur football. VIOS-W is in a stable sixth place, while JVC sees the lowest teams coming a little closer. ZAP did win and is now six points clear in the second division.
First class A
JVC – Vitesse ’22: 1-3
JVC has been waiting for a victory in the first class since November 16. The PhD student took on Vitesse ’22 at home on Sunday, but was unable to achieve a result in that match either: 1-3. Due to the defeat, JVC sees Vitesse ’22 closing in on one point. JVC’s gap with bottom HBOK is now three points. The Dorpers will be in action on Saturday, February 14, in the third round of the KNVB Cup. The Sports Team of the Year 2025 will then play an away match against Zeist.
VIOS-W – Foresters: 0-2
It has also been a while since VIOS-W achieved a victory in the first class. That was on November 29. The team from Warmenhuizen was unable to change that statistic on Sunday. VIOS-W was beaten 0-2 by Foresters on its own field. The Noordkopers see the sub-top moving away somewhat, although the gap with number three is only four points.
First class women
OJC Rosmalen – VV Winkel: 7-0
The women 1 of vv Winkel were unable to achieve results on Sunday when they visited OJC Rosmalen. Winkel went out with a battered team, partly due to injuries and holidays. “The halftime score was 3-0,” says team manager Ruilof Linstra. “We had a few chances, but today we were far too short to force anything. Five goals came from a corner.” Winkel will play a home match against Victoria Boys on Sunday.
Second class
LSVV – ZAP: 2-3
ZAP did excellent business on Sunday in the battle for the championship. The leader of the second division A won 2-3 when visiting LSVV thanks to goals from Finn van Dam (2 times) and Edo Krijger. The number two HSV lost, so the gap between ZAP and HSV is now six points.
