Everton at PSG: Facing “Worst Recruit” Criticism

It symbolizes one of the darkest periods in the history of PSG. Everton Santos has only played three matches with the Parisian club, but no fan has forgotten his time in the capital, where he arrived in the winter of 2008 alongside Souza. The two Brazilians are recruited in a hurry to try to save a team which is struggling to survive, but the affair turns into a fiasco.

The failure is even more resounding for Everton who only has 106 minutes, three of which came during a clasico against OM. Eighteen years later, the 39-year-old Brazilian striker, who began two university courses in administration and law to launch a second career in football, agreed to look back on his Parisian experience. He recounts an adventure that made him suffer as much as it made him grow.
