Dutch hockey players have little to fear from China in the Pro League

The Dutch hockey players have also won their sixth match in the Pro League. The Dutch team already defeated host country China 3-0 on Thursday and now went even further in Yunfu: 1-6. The Dutch men also won their Pro League match, 3-2 against Spain.

National coach Raoul Ehren’s team was again superior to China. The first goal took a long time to arrive on Thursday, but now it was 0-2 after fifteen minutes.

Felice Albers struck a devastating blow and Frédérique Matla used the rebound after a rush by Xan de Waard. The Chinese goalkeeper misjudged a swipe from Marijn Veen (0-3) and then goalkeeper Koning had to make a few appearances.

The score became 0-6 via Yibbi Jansen (penalty corner), Veen and Albers. China then managed to score a goal of honor.

Victory over Spain

The Dutch men won their second meeting with Spain later in the afternoon. After Thursday’s 4-3, the Dutch team triumphed 3-2 in Valencia.

Spain struck back in the third quarter. Two smooth attacks resulted in two strikers. Just before the end, Telgenkamp scored the winner with a devastating backhand, after Terrance Pieters had crossed the entire field.
