Basketball – Important home match for Domus Mulieris: Talea arrives
VITERBO – The Serie C team of Domus Mulieris returns to the field this Friday evening, awaiting the home match against Pallacanestro Talea which is part of the program of the sixth return day of the first phase.
An important match for coach Scaramuccia’s girls who, after the two successes against Frassati and Smit, are looking for a hat trick against an opponent who is also busy chasing the best possible position in view of the playoffs. The yellow-blues currently occupy third position with 20 points while their opponents in this match have 18 points; both teams have a race to recover but, in any case, the race scheduled for this round can be considered an important direct clash to continue chasing second position behind the league leaders Frecce Romane, still undefeated.
All the players were available for the technical staff who were able to work without problems during the week, preparing in the best possible way for the match against the Roman team; the taproom is scheduled for 9pm at PalaMalè with free entry.
In the next few days the main youth teams of the Viterbo club will also return to the field: the under 19 Domus Mulieris will be involved on Monday 23rd at 7.30 pm in the away match against Basket Roma which will open the second round of the second phase. The girls led by coach Scaramuccia closed the first round with three victories and two defeats, very narrowly against San Raffaele and Frascati, and will try to win a challenge that would guarantee one of the top three positions and the possibility of looking forward to the semi-finals with greater confidence.
The second phase of the under 17 ItLogix training starts on Sunday morning at 11.45am, led by coaches Daniele Catalani and Stefano Paparozzi; the yellow-blues have been included in group 3 and will begin the match program with a trip to the Esquilino facility where they suffered a clear defeat in the first phase. The objective is to start the journey in the best possible way in this mini grouping of four teams which includes only six matches and does not allow much space to recover from any missteps.
