The Super Bowl is an event that transcends borders and disciplines within sports. A few hours before the NFL final was played, Venezuelan Andy Borregales received a message of encouragement from Argentine soccer player Ángel Di María after completing a jersey exchange.

Last Wednesday, the Spanish account of the New England Patriots on
“And the expected message arrived for Andy Borregales. The great Ángel Di María has already received his jersey and I sent him this great message prior to the Super Bowl. Dream fulfilled,” they posted.
In the recording, Di María appears receiving the New England Patriots home jersey with the number and name of Borregales. ‘El Fideo’ thanked him for the gesture and dedicated a few words to him before the most important game of his career.
“It’s great,” he said about the jersey. “Well, Andy. Thank you very much, here I received your shirt, I thank you very much. It was a pleasure to exchange the shirt with you and I wish you the best in the Super Bowl. Many successes,” closed the attacker from Rosario Central.
The clip shows Borregales reacting to the video from a tablet. The Venezuelan, almost without words, thanked Di María and described what he experienced as “a dream.”
