Como is not giving up hope of signing Adrian Lahdo.
According to Sportbladet’s information, the club has now made a bid worth a total of around SEK 85 million for Hammarby’s midfielder, but Bajen does not look like selling the 18-year-old this winter.
– My ambition is to keep the squad intact, says sports manager Mikael Hjelmberg.
Adrian Lahdo’s future has been a topic of conversation in Hammarby recently and Bajen have been clear that they want to extend the player’s contract.
At the same time, Como in Serie A have been interested in signing Lahdo and Fabrizio Romano has previously also reported on the Italian club’s interest in Hammarby’s midfielder.
Now Como is making a late attempt to try and snatch Lahdo, as they have made a bid worth a total of SEK 85 million for the player.
The Italian transfer window closes at midnight tomorrow Monday, so the club are in a race against the clock to try and get a deal done. In any case, it is clear that Hammarby has received a huge offer for the 18-year-old.
It remains to be seen what happens with Lahdo and the next 24 hours will tell if there will be a deal or not.
But Hammarby should not be so eager to sell the player, but prefer to keep him in the squad over the coming season and then sell him this winter or next summer.
Sports director Mikael Hjelmberg believes that Bajen does not look like selling Lahdo this winter.
– I do not comment on offers or requests. My ambition is to keep the squad intact, he says.
