Chelsea vs Burnley: Predicted Lineup

After the bitter pill that came with the 2-2 draw against Leeds in what was their last appearance in the Premier League (they let a two-goal lead slip away), Chelsea play at home again this Saturday, February 21. Their rival will be Burnley, a team that is fighting not to lose the category.

The blues arrive at a good moment after adding four wins and a draw in the last five games in the Premier League.

The possible lineup for Chelsea vs Burnley

BY: Robert Sánchez – Undisputed starter between the sticks. The Spanish goalkeeper has ten clean sheets in 25 Premier League appearances this season with the blue team.

LD: Reece James – The captain returns to occupy the right sector of the defense after missing the matches against Wolves and Leeds due to a trauma from which he has now fully recovered.

DFC: Wesley Fofana – A fast defender, ideal to face a team that will look for spaces on the counterattack. He has played 41% of the possible minutes in this Premier League spread over 15 games.

DFC: Trevoh Chalobah -He is one of the regulars in the starting eleven. The English centre-back has only missed one match in this Premier League and has scored three goals.

LI: Jorrel Hato – The young 19-year-old full-back from Ajax will have the difficult task of replacing Marc Cucurella who is injured. This season he has already participated in 21 games with the Blues in all competitions.

MC: Andrey Santos – Rosenior knew how to make this 21-year-old Brazilian midfielder shine during his time at Racing Strasbourg and has given him continuity at Chelsea.

ED: Pedro Neto – Power, speed and imbalance. One of Les Blues’ favorite weapons when opening games. He has 5 goals and 3 assists in 26 games in the Premier League.

MCO: Cole Palmer – The blue team’s most unbalanced player has been growing after a start to the season well below expectations, and in which he has had to overcome several physical discomforts.

EI: Enzo Fernández – The Argentine provides vision, final pass and arrival at the goal. Committed each time in the offensive facet of the team. He has only missed one Premier game, against Nottingham Forest last October due to an injury.
