Bretenoux Archers: Lot Championship Success

The Bretenoux sports complex hosted the Lot departmental archery championship. Between precision, steely mentality and conviviality, the archers of Biars/Bretenoux were keen to proudly defend their colors at home.

Masterfully organized by the Archers of the Causse de Gramat, the event invited the best clubs in the department to a perfectly equipped structure. Despite the titles at stake, the atmosphere remained warm, marked by duels marked with deep respect between competitors.

A succession that aims right at the heart

The youth of the club hit hard in the under-15s. In recurve arch, Luna Bel took the title of departmental champion, closely followed by her teammate Alexandra Laplanche, who won a nice silver medal. Among the boys, Mahé Peintureaud confirms his progress by also becoming departmental champion.

In Barebow, the under-18 category saw the coronation of Cassandra Laplanche, who climbed to the highest step of the podium.

The adults were not left out, displaying impressive regularity. In recurve arch, the club achieves the double: Ophélie Alexandre for women and Arnaud Poulet for men are both crowned departmental champions.

Finally, the Arc Nu discipline once again smiled on the club with the title of departmental champion for Anthony Alberi. A performance completed by the solid performance of Raymond Guemas, who earned a deserved 3rd place in his category.

An exceptional record

With six championship titles and two additional podiums, the Biars/Bretenoux club confirms its dynamism and the quality of its coaching with Anthony, Sebastien and Arnaud. These results bode well for the rest of the season, while the archers are already keeping the target in their sights for the regional events which will be held in a few days.
