Thanks to a victory from Arthur Rinderknech, the France team defeated Slovakia (3-1) this Sunday to qualify for the second round of Davis Cup qualifying.
France eliminated Slovakia in the first of the two qualifying rounds for the final phase of the Davis Cup, Sunday at Portel (Pas-de-Calais).
Thanks to their 3-1 victory sealed by the 7-5, 7-6 (8/6) success of Arthur Rinderknech (31st in the world) against Alex Molcan (200th), the Blues won the right to face Canada in September in the second round of qualifying for the Final 8 of the competition, scheduled for November in Italy.
