GORREDIJK – Badminton Club Gorredijk can again visit the renovated Sports Center Kortezwaag. Every Wednesday evening (8 p.m. to 10 p.m.) there is a hit here. The athletes aged 35 to 75 then play a game every twenty minutes against changing opponents.
Badminton Club Gorredijk offers space for players with different levels: from relaxed recreational activities to the fanatical competition level. Badminton is a fast racket sport, suitable for all ages. Badminton helps to keep fit and improves hand-eye coordination. For less experienced members and newcomers, the club offers the opportunity to follow training. This happens at the beginning of the evening in a limited group. Under the guidance of the trainer, participants learn the different strokes and techniques in a relaxed atmosphere. After training, the more experienced players engage the new members in a real badminton match. New members can play for two evenings for free, the club will provide rackets.
