Badminton: Arnage’s Sporting Success

Five points separate Rennes EC (5th with one victory and one draw) which hosts Badminton Arnage-Mulsanne (3rd with two victories and three draws) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Suffice to say that in the event of a victory, the Sarthois would take a good lead with a view to maintaining.

But the REC, like its captain Faustine Noël, does not see it that way: We are recovering our injured, we will finally play in full force for this particularly important meeting. We are very motivated to give the best.

We want our revenge

This is no surprise for Marina Lepourreau-Basco, captain of BAM, We had made 4-4 on the first leg, it is normal that the REC wants to win at home. We had regrets, especially in the women’s matches, we want our revenge even if we know that it will be very close, like all matches! But here, facing a direct competitor, the stakes are even higher..

She will be able to count, among others, on Maëlle Le Meur, their teammate for the fifth season. I started at five years old in Senonches (Eure-et-Loir) where my father is a coach. I arrived at Le Mans for my PE studies, I then joined the BAM where I found the same characteristics, both family, friendly and in terms of level of play. Even if I returned to Senonches at the start of the school year, I wanted to continue playing with my friends from BAM. For Saturday, we want to win all the matches and bring back a nice victory which would be useful to us in our fight with three clubs for second place. As usual, we will compose our team at the last moment depending on the opponent.
