Anyang Jeonggwanjang once again caught the ankle of Ulsan Hyundai Mobis.

It wasn’t just one win. All wins against all opponents, and 6 consecutive wins. Nowadays, the word ‘compatibility’ is more appropriate.

Cheong Kwan Jang, led by coach Yoo Do-hoon, defeated Hyundai Mobis 88 to 73 in the 5th round of the ‘2025-2026 LG Electronics Professional Basketball’ held at Dongcheon Gymnasium in Ulsan on the 1st.

Jeong Kwan-Jang, who broke a two-game losing streak, succeeded in turning the atmosphere around by posting his 24th win of the season (13 losses), and completed his 6th consecutive win in head-to-head matches, including all 5 wins against Hyundai Mobis this season.

On the other hand, Hyundai Mobis suffered the double negative news of three consecutive losses and an interruption of four consecutive home wins.

For Jeong Kwan-Jang, Johnny O’Bryant (23 points, 7 rebounds) and Seong-Hyun Jeon (20 points) played an active part, while Ji-Hoon Park (15 points, 5 assists) and Bryce Washington (10 points, 12 rebounds) also led the team to victory.

Hyundai Mobis had a good start. Seo Myeong-jin and Jo Han-jin’s outer guns exploded one after another, taking the lead.

However, Jeong Kwan-Jang immediately regained momentum as the ‘triangle formation’ of Ji-Hoon Park, O’Bryant, and Seong-Hyeon Jeon scored, and the first quarter ended in a close game with a one-point margin.

The balance of the game tilted in the second quarter. Jeon Seong-hyun’s shooting sense exploded. He led the attack with consecutive scores both inside and outside, and even Washington contributed with rebounds and under the goal.

While Hyundai Mobis was in trouble for field goals, Jeong Kwan-Jang gradually accumulated points and finished the first half with a 44-39 lead.

The gap widened further in the second half. Park Ji-hoon’s breakthrough, Jeon Seong-hyun’s three-pointer, and O’Bryant’s power play added up to a double-digit difference.

In particular, O’Bryant dominated the scoring, scoring 12 points in the third quarter alone. Hyundai Mobis chased after Hammonds, but lost in the battle of firepower.

Park Ji-hoon’s consecutive scores in the early fourth quarter virtually sealed the victory. Although O’Bryant was sent off for five fouls, Jeong Kwan-Jang maintained his concentration on defense and rebounding and did not miss the trend.

Hyundai Mobis, who raised the ‘white flag’ by inserting candidates at the last minute, was caught up in free throw shooting and turnovers and lost momentum in pursuit.

When the opponent is Hyundai Mobis, Jeong Gwan-jang rarely forgets how to lose.

6 consecutive wins completed in Ulsan away, at this point it is closer to ‘dominance’ rather than confidence. It was a day when the two words ‘natural enemy’ were clearly engraved.
