The ABN AMRO Open in Rotterdam (February 9th to 15th, 2026) has to cope with severe setbacks this year. Both top seed Alexander Zverev (ankle problems) and defending champion Carlos Alcaraz canceled their participation at short notice. Nevertheless, the ATP 500 event in the Ahoy Arena remains star-studded and now offers other stars the stage for the title.

After the withdrawal of the two top stars, last year’s finalist Alex de Minaur, Alexander Bublik and Daniil Medvedev (winner 2023) are moving into the role of favorites. Local hero Tallon Griekspoor is also hoping for his first home win since 1998.
