In the USA they call him the Quadruple God, which sounds even cooler in English: Quad God. The 21-year-old showed seven quadruple jumps at the last Grand Prix final. No one has ever achieved that before him, which is why he achieved a world record score of 238.24 points. The talent didn’t fall from heaven. His parents, also figure skaters, competed in the Olympics for Uzbekistan in the 1990s and 2000s. Now they’re training him. Malinin himself even thinks it is possible to show a five-fold jump soon.
