We said that we were not going to allow any act of indiscipline. We are not going to give in,” Navarro highlighted in an interview with RPP.
“The players are not going to be at the presentation on Saturday. The coach and the sports area made that decision. The players are not in the institution today. Each one will see how they solve this problem they have gotten themselves into,” he added.
Franco Navarro also confirmed that neither he nor another member of the Alianza Lima team resigned after what happened at the Matute facilities after the complaint, where some footballers were attacked.
Alianza Lima for now is already thinking about the match against Inter Miami this Saturday on the Blanquiazul Night 2026. The match was moved to 5:00 pm (Peruvian time).
