A few days ago, the young players of Yuxi Hongta District Heritage Football Club achieved great results in the 4th China Youth Football League (Yunnan Division), known as the “Little Dian Super League” and the 2025 Yunnan Province (5th) Youth Football League Provincial Finals, winning the mixed U10 championship for men and women, adding another glory to Yuxi’s youth football career.
It is understood that the Yunnan Youth Football League is the youth football tournament with the highest standards, the widest coverage and the highest competitive level in the province. After intense preliminaries, participating teams from 16 states (cities) participated in the finals held in Kaiyuan City, Honghe Prefecture from December 24 to 28, 2025. The competition was divided into five categories: male and female mixed U8 group, male and female mixed U10 group, U12 men’s group, U12 women’s group, and U13 men’s group.

It is understood that in the last league, the club won the championship of the mixed U8 group for men and women, and won the championship of the mixed U10 group for men and women in this tournament. “The club not only focuses on the training of students’ football skills, but also focuses on young people gaining happiness in football and realizing value in the process of growth.” Club leader Qu Lin said that since its establishment in 2018, the club has trained more than 5,000 students. Wang Chenhao and Li Qinzhao, who were selected for the Yuxi team of the Yunnan Super League this year, also came from the youth training here.
In addition to carrying out daily youth training, the club also cooperates with many primary schools in the city to provide professional football training support and help organize campus football leagues. Through the participation of social forces, it has built a bridge between the popularization of campus football and professional football, and has played a positive role in promoting the development of campus football.
In recent years, Yuxi City has actively explored the construction of an integrated youth campus football competition system that integrates sports and education, forming a youth campus football development system that promotes campus football, youth football, and social football, creating a good football atmosphere for young students. From 2022 to 2025, Yuxi City will send more than 20 U17, U15, U13 and other echelon athletes to domestic Chinese League One and Chinese Super League professional clubs.
