Victor Wembanyama was injured in the first quarter before returning to the game to score a double of 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 119-101 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Frenchman was the victim of knee-to-knee contact with Giannis Antetokounmpo when there were only a few minutes left in the match. He immediately headed to the locker room under his own power. Wembanyama returned to the bench at the very end of the first quarter and even started the second quarter on the field.
Stephon Castle added 19 points and 10 assists for San Antonio, which led by 39 points entering the final quarter.
Antetokounmpo scored 21 points for the Bucks, who lost their third straight game.
