After three seasons, the Vietnam National Student Sports Championship has begun to become an effective source of talent for second-tier teams, and will very likely support first-tier teams in the near future.

I know that many teams have created, are creating, or will create attractive scholarship programs to attract young players from professional clubs who wish to continue their education beyond high school.

As the champion of the 2nd Vietnam Student Football Championship – 2024, Ho Chi Minh University of Physical Education and Sports presented clean, attractive and civilized football, reflecting the true spirit and essence of students: dedication, altruism and respect for opponents.
Coach Pham Thi Vinh, the “principal architect” of the South team’s success, said: “In confirmation of football leadership, the Vietnam Student Football Championship, launched in 2023, was a refreshing rain after a drought, reviving the student football movement after long years of stagnation. The increasing number of teams and quality of the tournament over the seasons demonstrates the status of this well-organised and large-scale tournament, the largest in the country, and part of the official annual competition system of the Vietnam Football Association.”
From the beginning, the organizing committee made a strong impression with its motto “Play Fairly – Win Fairly – Promote Fairly”, emphasizing a pure philosophy of responsible, civilized and fair behaviour, from the sports teams to the fans. The Vietnam Student Sports Festival is a necessary and correct step, in line with the Prime Minister’s strategy for developing Vietnamese sports, which aims for more than 95% of students to regularly participate in sports activities by 2045.
For me personally, the Vietnamese Student Football Championship (TNSV VN) has an exceptional appeal. Every aspect of the organisation, before, during and after the tournament, was greatly appreciated by the participating teams. The media coverage was a landmark event, unparalleled in any other school football tournament in Vietnam, as it received unprecedented attention and following across digital platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. This confirms the pioneering role of the newspaper “Sana Nin “In the development of Vietnamese football since the championship “Second Nin” U-21 in 1997, which served as a starting point for most Vietnamese national team players throughout history. When mentioning Vietnamese student sports teams, it is impossible to ignore Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a team that swept the National Championship (Season 3) and the International Championship (Season 1) in its first appearance in the tournament.
I participate in training at Thanh Hoa Club, and participate in youth tournaments organized by the newspaper Sana Nin (U-19 and U-21) since 2000.
