Although young (it is preparing for its fourth season), it has left the Vietnam Student Sports Championships, which is organized by the newspaper Sana Nin In cooperation with the Vietnamese Football Association, it had a great impact on the fans. This tournament, which was characterized by integrity, good organization, professionalism, and the spirit of “fair play – fair victory – fair encouragement”, contributed to spreading the sportsmanship among Vietnamese students.

“It is the Vietnamese Student Football League, which is organized by a newspaper,” said coach Tran Minh Chien Thana Nin, A remarkable development towards professionalism. I was fortunate enough to participate in the league from its inception, from the 2023 to 2025 season, all the way to the International Student Football League – Thako Cup 2025, a tournament that received wide acclaim from Southeast Asian countries. My first impression was the lively atmosphere full of youthful energy in this upscale sports environment. Matches always attract attention and high-quality, dedicated support from the stands. In many matches, fans cheer for the opposing team, demonstrating high sportsmanship. Obviously a newspaper Sana Nin “I have succeeded in building and developing the league according to the right standards: ‘Beautiful Play – Beautiful Win – Beautiful Support’, meeting the needs and aspirations of the student football movement, and garnering strong support.”

One aspect I particularly appreciate is the high level of professional competition. Teams gradually show more organized performance, and training staff become more efficient. After three seasons, the Vietnam National Student Sports Championship has begun to become an effective source of talent for second-tier teams, and will very likely support first-tier teams in the near future.

This shows how effective a newspaper football tournament is “Second Nin” And its enormous potential for development, as it has become an important competitive arena for many public and private universities, colleges and academies throughout the country. I know that many teams have created, are creating, or will create attractive scholarship programs to attract young players from professional clubs who wish to continue their education beyond high school.

Having closely followed the Vietnamese student football scene since its inception, expert Doan Minh Chung shared his thoughts with us, saying: “This is a positive sign for the school football movement in Vietnam. Sana Nin To create a prestigious and high-quality tournament with the participation of a larger number of teams, and the selection and competition process has become more professional in accordance with international standards. I hope that the tournament will continue and expand to promote student football, and instill passion and enthusiasm for this sport in the hearts of young people. This promising platform will also be a source of young talent for the national team.”

Stadium development continues Students Vietnamese

As the champion of the 2nd Vietnam Student Football Championship – 2024, Ho Chi Minh University of Physical Education and Sports presented clean, attractive and civilized football, reflecting the true spirit and essence of students: dedication, altruism and respect for opponents.

Coach Pham Thi Vinh, the “principal architect” of the South team’s success, said: “In confirmation of football leadership, the Vietnam Student Football Championship, launched in 2023, was a refreshing rain after a drought, reviving the student football movement after long years of stagnation. The increasing number of teams and quality of the tournament over the seasons demonstrates the status of this well-organised and large-scale tournament, the largest in the country, and part of the official annual competition system of the Vietnam Football Association.”

From the beginning, the organizing committee made a strong impression with its motto “Play Fairly – Win Fairly – Promote Fairly”, emphasizing a pure philosophy of responsible, civilized and fair behaviour, from the sports teams to the fans. The Vietnam Student Sports Festival is a necessary and correct step, in line with the Prime Minister’s strategy for developing Vietnamese sports, which aims for more than 95% of students to regularly participate in sports activities by 2045.

For me personally, the Vietnamese Student Football Championship (TNSV VN) has an exceptional appeal. Every aspect of the organisation, before, during and after the tournament, was greatly appreciated by the participating teams. The media coverage was a landmark event, unparalleled in any other school football tournament in Vietnam, as it received unprecedented attention and following across digital platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. This confirms the pioneering role of the newspaper “Sana Nin “In the development of Vietnamese football since the championship “Second Nin” U-21 in 1997, which served as a starting point for most Vietnamese national team players throughout history. In particular, the TNSV International Championship – THACO Cup 2025 received very positive feedback from the participating countries, giving international friends an optimistic and positive outlook on the development of student football in particular and Vietnamese football in general.

When mentioning Vietnamese student sports teams, it is impossible to ignore Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a team that swept the National Championship (Season 3) and the International Championship (Season 1) in its first appearance in the tournament.

I participate in training at Thanh Hoa Club, and participate in youth tournaments organized by the newspaper Sana Nin (U-19 and U-21) since 2000. The newspaper has always enjoyed Sana Nin With a strong reputation in organisation, from professional leagues to student tournaments current . The newspaper has contributed to raising the level of many young players and students. The impact of the tournament is now growing, as it serves as a useful playground for students. As for my students at Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism, they have matured a lot in terms of professional skills, emotions, and competitive spirit. They also gained distinctive and valuable experiences. “Not only that, but the two tournaments (domestic and international) have greatly increased the influence and reputation of Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism,” said Coach Nguyen Cong Thanh, coach of the team of Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism, adding: “We have become more popular, and recruiting players has become easier.” It is more beneficial. The number of new students has also increased significantly last year. This is also a favorable situation for the team to recruit members New, ready to participate in the next TNSV season As for the organization, as a supervisor in the Vietnamese Football Federation, I have participated in many tournaments, but I am very impressed with the professionalism of the newspaper. Sana Nin from careful reception, preparation of documents, professional staff screening, to close coordination with the Vietnamese Football Association. In particular, a newspaper is presented Sana Nin Full support for accommodation and meals for the teams, which is really impressive. I think, specifically in student tournaments, TNSV Vietnam is the best.

Having led the Water Resources University team to second place twice, coach Vu Van Trung emphasized, “The tournament organized by the… Sana Nin With truly unique values. After almost 30 years of working in the field of student football, I can confidently say that this tournament deserves to be considered the most professional, humane and influential stadium for Vietnamese youth. It is not just a place for students to compete, it is also a place to hone their skills, develop their competitive spirit, foster teamwork, and fully immerse themselves in their passion. The tournament not only provides high-quality matches, but also contributes to nurturing positive qualities in young people, spreading a beautiful lifestyle, the spirit of fair play, and the desire to give.”

On the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the founding of the newspaper “Second Nin” I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the organizing committee and all those who have tirelessly contributed to building this wonderful platform. I am eternally grateful, and I hope that the flame of the Vietnamese Youth and Student Association will continue to burn, inspiring and guiding Vietnamese youth for many years to come.
