Victor France Para-Badminton Finals: Location & Details

Sébastien MARTIN created a surprise in the men’s singles WH1 by eliminating the number 2 seed, Vincent MARCHERAS, after 3 sets and 39 minutes of play. He reached the final where he will face the discipline’s captain, David TOUPE. In doubles WH1-WH2, Sébastien and David will again be opposed, the first alongside Laurent BELLIA-SAUVAGE and the second with Pascal BARILLON, with whom they will assume the status of favorite. On the WH2 singles side, a shock final will pit the two top seeds, Thomas JAKOBS and Bruno CAT, who is putting his title back on the line.

Already crowned in 2025, Audrey BELLIA-SAUVAGE is once again on track for the WH1 ladies’ singles title. In a single group made up of 3 players, she took the lead in the ranking and will face Charline MAYER tomorrow, for the final meeting. Sabrina CORNAYRE also puts her title back on the line in WH2. Qualified for the final after a controlled half, she will meet Marilou MAUREL, seeded 1, as in 2024! In doubles, Audrey BELLIA-SAUVAGE and Florence DELGAL are on track to keep the lead in their group, which would be synonymous with a gold medal in this category. Two matches remain to be played in this table to choose the winners!

There will be several of them who will also compete in the mixed semi-finals. Reigning champions, Marilou MAUREL and Sébastien MARTIN will have a lot to do to retain gold this year. Opposed to the duo seeded 2 MARCHERAS/CORNAYRE in the half, they could then face David TOUPE and Emmanuelle OTT, favorites in the table, in the final.
