Velo Activities: Explore & Enjoy

During the season, we at VELO Badminton organize many fun activities for our youth members. Some examples are below.

Youth camp

The VELO Badminton youth camp is an annual outing for all youth members of VELO Badminton between the ages of 8 and 18. The camp takes place in the first week of the summer holidays for primary schools and is led by members of VELO Badminton. To ensure that the different training groups get to know each other better and have a great week together, all kinds of activities are organized, related to the theme of that camp. You can play badminton the rest of the year, so this is not on the program at camp! The camp leaders of the youth camp can be reached via the email address [email protected]. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact them!

Sinterklaas
To celebrate that Sinterklaas is in the country, something fun is organized every year during the youth training in the week of December 5. What exactly will happen…remains a surprise for now!

Parent/child tournament

An annual tournament is the parent/child tournament. Once a year during the parent/child tournament you can show your parents how much fun badminton is and maybe even teach them a few strokes. You register for the tournament with 1 of your parents and play against the other children who are on the court with 1 of their parents.
