The young man murdered yesterday, Friday, on the basketball court in the Sabana Hoyos neighborhood, in Vega Altawas identified by the Police as Jahn Abdiel Santana Rodríguez. He was 19 years old.
The police report details that it was the relatives who made his identity known.
Santana Rodríguez was murdered around 4:31 pm yesterday. A call through the 9-1-1 Emergency System alerted authorities to the crime.
The motive for the murder has not been established. But, it was highlighted that the deceased did not have a criminal record.
Agent John Crespo, from the Vega Baja Criminal Investigation Corps, together with prosecutor Liz López, is in charge of the investigation.
So far this year, 39 murders have been reported.
