Presented this Wednesday (28/1) as a reinforcement of the Vascothe attacker Marino Hinestroza revealed that he received proposals for Botafogo e International. In the Colombian’s words, only Cruz-Maltino spoke to him directly about the 2026 season.
– I had several proposals from teams here in Brazil. I think the first was from Botafogo, the second from Internacional and the third was from Vasco. I spoke to Admar a lot in July. I came here because I felt that Vasco was the team that most wanted me to come and play here. That makes a difference. Nobody from the teams in Brazil called me that they wanted me here, that they liked me. Just Vasco – stated Marino.
– I never felt frustrated coming here. I am very happy to be here at Vasco. I was the first one to make the decision, I want this to be very clear to everyone. I came here because Vasco was the team that I most wanted to play here with that shirt. Diniz’s connection was very clear to me. I didn’t need to talk to him much, it was only 20 minutes and I already wanted to sign. I hadn’t spoken to the coach of any other club, only Diniz. That was very important – he completed.
Hinestroza arrived at Vasco for US$5 million and signed a four-season contract. Last year, Glorioso had offered the same amount, in July, for the player, who had liked the black and white offer, but the National Athletic (COL) asked for US$8 million to release it.
