“I don’t want to go into details. I’m in talks with Bayern, that’s all I can say”. Just yesterday, statements by Dayot Upamecano emerged in which, despite being somewhat secretive, he made it quite clear that he is currently negotiating his continuity at Bayern Munich.

Questioned by TZthe sporting director of the Munich entity, Christoph Freund, has been much more explicit about this and has assured: “There is still no final decision, but I can say that the negotiations are very, very advanced. Upa has been a very important player for us since the arrival of Kompany and this renewal would be very important for us”.
