Our fellow villager Ilse Aarnink-Van Dijk starts her own company for creative children’s parties and workshops. ‘I like to be creative and work with children,’ explains Schalkhaar. ‘I thought it would be fun to combine these two things in Studio Crea, a place where participants in my workshops will experience a feeling of enthusiasm and inspiration.’
SHALKHAAR – ‘The combination of my passion for creativity and working with children makes organizing creative children’s parties and workshops extra fun and satisfying,’ says Ilse. ‘It’s fantastic to see children making their own colorful creations, such as decorating porcelain, bags, jewelery boxes, photo frames or building wooden robots.’
Ilse lives with her husband Nils on the Oerdijk. She can regularly be found in ‘t Haarhuus for a fanatic game of badminton at SVS and Nils also sports a racket at the local TC Park Braband. Daughter Liv goes to school in Schalkhaar at De Sleutel and attends jazz dance at SVS; Son Moos goes to Spring in ‘t Veld in our village. Bonus son Jesse is a member of the scouting group.
Unique environment
