It is the only NBA game taking place in Germany this season: the Orlando Magics and the Memphis Grizzlies will meet in Berlin in the evening. The rush is huge – and so long queues have formed in front of the Uber Arena. The police have therefore called for people to arrive early. And although admission has already started at 6 p.m., things could be tight for some fans who are still queuing: they might not make it to the arena in time for the start of the game.

“I could really cry because I’m missing out on all the NBA flair before the game because of this traffic jam,” reports a Morning Post editor who is there privately. In between, a folder appeared who wanted to ensure order – but overall everything was progressing slowly. “In my opinion, they seem overwhelmed.”
“Blatant flop”: Long lines to enter the NBA game
There is now hope among those waiting that tipoff could be pushed back because there are still so many fans waiting in front of the hall. However, this is probably just a rumor. A man who is still in line speaks of a “crazy flop”.
The frustration of many fans is also so great because of the extreme ticket prices. For places in the cheaper upper tier over 350 euros were due, in the lower tier sometimes over 2500 euros. You can watch the NBA game on TV and stream much cheaper.
