For the second time in a month, the Clippers beat the Lakers on Thursday night (112-104). Nothing to upset the established order: Los Angeles still belongs to the Lakers. But the derby was an opportunity to wonder what could possibly push an Angeleno to choose red and blue rather than the glorious purple and gold.
