Vito Ladisa has announced his resignation from the position of president of Taranto Calcio, which today was defeated in the championship by Polimnia with the dismissal of coach Panarelli. Ladisa announced that the company (which is part of Eccellenza) will now be led by her brother Sebastiano, her nephew and her son.
«With deep regret but with absolute conviction – it is written in the note -, today I communicate my irrevocable decision to resign from the position of president of Taranto Calcio. This choice was made after a long reflection: I can no longer dedicate to the new club the time, energy and attention that a club like Taranto deserves. Personal reasons and urgent business commitments prevent me from continuing to lead this initiative with the total dedication that has always characterized my commitment in everything.”
«I have invested my heart, passion and resources in recent years for our beloved Taranto – continues the note -, but the moment comes when we must recognize our limits and take a step back for the good of the club. It is not a surrender, it is a responsible choice: Taranto needs present and constant guidance, and I, at this moment in my life, cannot guarantee it. However, I am calm because I am leaving the baton in safe hands: my brother, my nephew and my son will have the time and opportunity to dedicate themselves heart and soul to Taranto, carrying forward this initiative with the same family passion that has always animated us.”
«I heartily thank – concludes the note – all those who shared this adventure with me: the fans, the true beating heart of the club, the staff, the players and all the collaborators. Your support was the driving force behind every result. I am not abandoning Taranto: I will continue to support it with all of myself, as a fan and enthusiast, in every way possible. This city and this shirt deserve the best, always. Come on Taranto, forever.”
